What is AMFYOYO?
Acronym: Adios My Friend You’re On Your Own.
Mainly, the acronym has been used under my breath as a way to combat the absurdity of life’s situations with levity and sardonic humor. Here are some examples: Swimming faster than your dive buddy when the sharks appear; Finally making it to the next rest stop only to discover the door to the bathroom is locked, Not investing in Fortune 500 companies in the 5th grade, Or from personal experience falling asleep during a layover just in time to see the plane take off.
The human experience is filled with these moments (of course with varying degrees of severity), and yet in that second of awe for the briefest of moments one can choose to find the humor in it all.
